Both voyages will elevate the already spectacular Disney Cruise Line experience with added special entertainment, in-room gifts and more, all created with Members in mind. Here’s a quick look at the two itineraries.

Up first on the calendar is the 7-night Alaskan voyage, sailing aboard the Disney Wonder from May 25-June 1, 2015, out of Vancouver, B.C. Both the special entertainment and the in-room gifts for this sailing will draw inspiration from the voyage’s wild and wintery setting, creating a Member Cruise unlike any other.

For Members who prefer sunglasses and sandals to scarves and sweaters, a 4-night Bahamian voyage will sail aboard the Disney Dream from Aug. 24-28, 2015, out of Port Canaveral, Florida. Two scheduled visits to Disney’s private-island paradise, Castaway Cay, will bookend an activity-filled sea day, with Disney Vacation Club-created entertainment celebrating Disney’s storied history and exciting future.

‘Olu and Cookie make a splash as they join “Friends of Duffy” collection overseas

$

There’s no bigger merchandise phenomenon at Tokyo Disney Resort than Duffy & Friends, a group of plush characters designed exclusively for the parks that have taken on lives of their own as they spread to Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Aulani. Duffy and his girlfriend ShellieMay have been flying off the shelves for years, but recent efforts to expand the line have brought popular characters Gelatoni and StellaLou into the fold.

Earlier this month, Hong Kong Disneyland introduced an exclusive new friend of Duffy, a canine pastry chef named Cookie. There’s scads of Cookie merchandise, food items and you can even meet Cookie on Main Street USA alongside Duffy himself. For now, Cookie can only be found at Hong Kong Disneyland.

On July 27, Aulani will introduce an exclusive character as well: the adorable ukulele-playing sea turtle, ‘Olu. While ‘Olu isn’t greeting guests at Aulani just yet, his line of merchandise will no doubt be a huge hit with Disney’s Hawaiian guests.

It’s unlikely we’ll see any of Duffy’s new friends at Disneyland or Walt Disney World, so your best bet is to book your own trip to visit all of Disney’s amazing properties in the Pacific region. Which of Duffy‘s friends is your favorite?
